1.Mission’s e-store launched: Dr. Pranav Pandya inaugurated electronic store (www.awgpestore.com) through internet on May 16, 2010. This store will be operated by an enthusiastic young volunteer of Gayatri Parivar, Sri Rajesh Yadav from Sadhnagar area of Palam (Delhi). The aim of e-store is to make available the literature of Poojya Gurudev through internet. Interested persons may log on to the abovementioned website and place the order for books, CDs or other items sold by the Mission. Once the electronic transfer of required amount takes place, the books or other items will be delivered to the concerned person by courier. Any enquiry in this regard may be emailed to contactus@awgpestore.com  or one may call at 91-011-25050932 (Mon-Sat 9 AM to 8 PM IST). This facility is accessible throughout world.

2.Inauguration of Research and Publication Cell of DSVV: A Research and Publication Cell has been opened in Dev Sanskriti Vishwa Vidyalaya (DSVV) on June 10, 2010. In his address in its opening ceremony, DSVV’s Chancellor Dr Pranav Pandya, said that this cell would publish the theses of Ph D and dissertations of higher degree. It is also planned to publish the reports of Yoga and Health Polyclinic of DSVV and other medical research findings in collaboration with Health Department of Central Government and Indian Council of Medical Research. An editorial board has been constituted for this purpose. Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Director of School of Yoga and Health, DSVV, will be the Chief Editor.

3.Awareness Programs on Environment Day: Nearly all the active branches of All World Gayatri Pariwar conducted mass awareness programs for saving the environment in their respective cities / towns on World Environment Day (June 5). On this occasion, an exhibition ‘Srijana’ was organized by the students of DSVV. Some eco-friendly items, like paper bags, greetings, pen stands, righting pads, photo frames, etc, made by students from waste materials were also available for sale.

4.Yoga and Health Camp: A nine-day (June 1-9, 2010) camp was organized by Yoga and Health Polyclinic of DSVV. It was attended by a large number of patients from Delhi, Rajasthan, Bihar, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Himachal and Gujarat. Considering Naturopathy as the basis, patients suffering from various diseases were treated by alternative therapies like Yoga, Yagya, Meditation, Music, Pranic healing, acupressure, etc.  At the concluding ceremony, Dr Chinmay Pandya, Director of Yoga and Health Polyclinic, in his address to the beneficiaries of the camp, said –‘This is not the end; it is a first step towards rejuvenation. If a person continues his Jeevan Sadhana as prescribed in this camp, he will remain happy and healthy throughout his life.’
